Shiatsu Air Pro Foot Massager with Heat

There is a lady sitting in a chair reading a book. She has her feet in the Shiatsu Air Pro Foot Massager.

Massage Tools for your Feet – When it comes to massage tools for your feet usually never list them in my reviews. Foot massages have never been my thing like it is for some people. I have always been into back massages because of my back problems and my history.  But I had to list this one.

There are many health benefits you get from a foot massage other than feeling good. No matter if it’s your feet, back, head, or any other part of your body. You get the same benefits from all of them. A massage will reduce stress hormones, increases joint mobility and flexibility, reduces muscle tension, eases pain, improving blood circulation and much more.

Do not get me wrong, foot massages really feel good. But for me, it’s one of those things where I could take it or leave it.  In addition, I usually never write about foot massagers with the exception of when they are included as part of a massage chair or something similar to a situation like that.

I am always trying out different massagers and massage tools when I have the opportunity. Ideally, if you can take a massager for a “test drive” before buying it? That’s the way to go. In my case, not only do I try them out to make a possible purchase but it’s part of my “homework” for my reviews as well.

One day I had walked into a Bed Bath and Beyond. They had a foot massager out on the floor you could try out. I decided to check it out, which happened to be the Shiatsu Air Pro Foot Massager with Heat by Homedics.

The Shiatsu Air Pro Foot Massager.

I took my shoes off and placed my feet into the foot slots.  My plan was to only spend a couple of minutes with it. Those couple of minutes turned into 10, then 20 and I finally finished after a lengthy conversation with a sales lady from the store I managed to pull my feet out of the massager.

I spent a good 45 minutes in the store with my feet in the foot massager most of the time. Apparently, she owned one herself but it was a different model. She said it was the best thing she ever bought.

Her feet, understandably,  would kill her every night from being on them all day.  Then she bought the foot massager and could not believe how great her feet felt after the first time using it.

Her feet would still hurt at night after working all day. But she found that consistently using the foot massager on the days she worked.  After a couple of weeks, her feet would hurt less at night on the days she worked. That’s before massaging her feet at the end of the day.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience in the store. But it was nice to hear her story as well.

The HoMedics® Shiatsu Air Pro Foot Massage With Heat is a foot massager that provides an all-encompassing, deep kneading massage from your heels to toes and top to bottom. With customized controls and tranquilizing heat, your overworked arches and soles can finally relax. You will experience a variable air compression foot massage that uses a tender, metrical pressure to give your feet a tranquil massage.

The Shiatsu Pro has a calming heat function. This function must be used either with a massage, air compression, or with both. You know when you have the heating function engaged. It has a light that will glow red.

When adding compression to a heated foot massage, the results are a deeper sensation of pain relief. The compression uses mild, metrical pressure to give your feet that tranquil massage. You can choose from high, medium, and low compression intensities.

The HoMedics® Shiatsu Massager is one of those massage tools that use deep-kneading nodes to dig deep and work out the pain in your feet. You will feel like you are at some expensive spa but in reality, you could be sitting in the comfort of your home. Knowing that this foot massager is yours to use as many times as you want, whenever you want. You also know it will pay for itself many times over.

It’s very easy to clean and store. To store this device, you want to place this foot massager in a dry, cool, safe place. Make sure you avoid contact with sharp edges and pointed objects. Never wrap the power cord around the unit and do not hang the unit by the controller cord.

To clean this massager, unplug the device and allow it to cool first. Only use a soft and slightly damp sponge for cleaning. You never want water or any other liquids to come in direct contact with the device.

Air Compression

The HoMedics® Shiatsu Air Pro Foot Massager has three different intensity levels. You have the option of choosing from low, medium, and high compression. You also have the option of keeping the compression function turned off. The compression function will help improve your blood circulation. The compression function lightly constricts then releases your feet. This allows your blood to re-circulate throughout your feet.

Soothing Heat

The deep kneading foot massager has a built-in heating feature. When using the heat it helps to get into any tired muscles throughout your arches and soles. The deep kneading nodes replicate the motions of a professional massage therapist to treat those tired puppies.

Customize Your Massage

This Shiatsu Air Pro Foot Massager has an array of different functions to choose from for customizing your massage. Not all massage tools for the feet have the ability to customize a massage. There is an air intensity with a compression option. The “Mode” button activates “air only” or “knead only”, or a combination of both of them. The “Knead Intensity” function changes the significance of your massage. You can choose from a range of low to high.
